New York Minute

The wife and I went to Pittsburgh last weekend. Went to PNC, gained 46 lbs each and had a great time. The wife said, “It’s a nice little city,” which is what a New Yorker says whenever they visit a town that is not Mexico City or London or Rome.

Then to come back and see something like this?

Well, it’s good to be home.

Good stuff! And so true. We can't help lving in what feels like the center of the universe. Location, location, location!

NYC, Hong Kong and Tokyo all share that center of the universe feeling for me. Although the great Ali Farka Toure (RIP) when asked about coming from distant Timbuktu in Africa said "It may be distant to you, but for us we know it's the center of the world"!

I wanna visit Pittsburgh some day. I've heard good things about it.

[2]Yes (of course) to Tokyo. No to Honkers. I know it works for some, but I've never felt comfortable there.

But, yous guys gotta add Paris to your list, though. Just a magical, majestic place. And my personal favorite is Madrid.
